The Beaux Arts Societe is a volunteer organization which raises funds to financially support the Boise Art Museum’s exhibitions, general operating and administrative expenses, and educational experiences.

Welcome to the Beaux Arts Societe!  We are a legion of women and men dedicated to raising funds for the Boise Art Museum as well as providing art experiences for the children of our community!  There are many ways for you to get involved, with different levels of commitment.  Please, volunteer where your interests lie – we can always use more talent, ideas and hands!  Along with feeling good about volunteering in your community, you will meet some really great people and make lasting friendships.

The BAS events this year include the Children’s Art Festival during Art in the Park Saturday –Sunday, September 8-9, 2007, The Holiday Sale Wednesday-Sunday, November 7 – 11, 2007, and The Wine Festival Monday-Saturday, April 21-26, 2008.  There really is something for everyone.  We also have social functions - Fall and Spring Luncheons, and a Winter Gathering.  We welcome you to all. 

So that you may know what your hard work produces:  since its’ inception in 1966 the Beaux Arts Societe has been raising funds to support the Boise Art Museum.  BAS has given over $1,200,000 to BAM for operating expenses and exhibits.  This year BAS will help in sponsoring  The Triennial at the Boise Art Museum, September 1, 2007-November 25, 2007.
